Ealing’s administration returned in May with a renewed mandate. Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Safe and Genuinely Affordable Homes Cllr Louise Brett, Cabinet Member for Good Growth Cllr Monica Hamidi, Strategic Director Peter George and acting Assistant Director for Housing Regeneration Yemi Aladerun set out their ambition to unlock sites and meet it.

Ealing now holds London’s second highest housing target. While targeting adoption of its new Local Plan by the end of the year, the council is clear on where the opportunity lies to meet that ambition, with viability the test it is willing to work through with developers to unlock good growth.
